Attention: Foreigners who hold a valid current Visa from the United States of America and who accredited their permanent legal residence in the United States of America, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom of Grand Britain (and the countries that comprise the Schengen area) do not require VISA.
Many countries in the world do not require visa to enter Mexico, including US, EU and most Asian countries.
Citizens from following nationalities do not need visa to enter Mexico:

It should be noted that any travel to Mexico through the US will require a valid visa for both the US and Mexico and customs inspection both in the US and Mexico.
Internment of foreign people to Mexico.
- 1. The internment of foreign people must be by the aerial, maritime and ground points of admission, authorized for that effect;
- 2. The foreigner must be at the internment point to apply for the entrance at the country with the next documents:
- 2.1 Passport or identity card and travel document , valid to Mexico and legitimate.
- 2.2 Migratory form to prove the migratory status, and
- 2.3 Visa, if it is required according with the international law. The Visa will not be required in the following cases:
- 2.3.1 A foreigner residing in the country temporarily or permanently, and so prove to migratory form FM2, FM3 or FMTF legitimate and valid;
- 2.3.2 A foreigner holder of a legitimate and valid FMVL migration form;
- 2.3.3 A foreign holder of a valid departure and return permission, or APEC Business Travel Card valid for Mexico, and
- 2.3.4 Permission of the INM (National Institute of Migration, for its Spanish acronym) in appropriate cases. In the case of transmigrants in connection, the permission may be verified by electronic via.
